How Buying Works

  1. Tell us what you need

Type of vehicle, budget and must have features.

  2. We check what’s in

We tell you what fits now and what’s coming in.

  3. View it in Delta

Viewings are by appointment at our Berg Rd location, so someone is there to show you the vehicle.

  4. Drive away with the paperwork done

We complete the transfer with you. Under ICBC rules, the buyer registers the vehicle within 10 days of purchase.

Before You Come for a Viewing

  • Know your budget, including taxes and fees at signing.
  • Bring your driver’s licence.
  • If you’re trading in, bring that vehicle’s registration and keys.
  • Write down the questions that matter to you: mileage, service history, how it’s been used.

Trade Ins Welcome

Have a car to move on? Bring it to your viewing and we’ll factor it into the deal. If it’s past driving, we can buy it for scrap instead through cash for cars and scrap car removal.

Used Car Questions

How do I see what cars you have in stock?

Call 672-207-6500 and tell us what you’re looking for. Stock at Tilbury Machinery & Vehicle Salvage changes often, so the quickest way is to ask what’s in now and what’s arriving. We then book you a viewing at our Berg Rd location in Delta at a time that works for you.

Do you take trade ins?

Yes. Bring your current vehicle to the viewing and Tilbury Machinery & Vehicle Salvage will factor it into the deal. If the trade in isn’t roadworthy, we can still buy it for its scrap value, and the transfer paperwork for both vehicles is completed together at our Delta location.

Can I just drop by to look at cars?

Please call first. Viewings at Tilbury Machinery & Vehicle Salvage are by appointment, because our team is often out on pickups around Delta. Booking ahead means the vehicle you want is ready to look at and someone is there to answer your questions.
